My Christian faith is the most important element of my life, and I intend to honor Christ on every journey He takes me on including this campaign for Sheriff. It is imperative that we have Christian leaders in our county that remain in prayer and surround themselves with other Christians that lead by example with dignity and integrity. This is a nation founded on biblical principles and Christian values. I will remain in prayer especially on difficult decisions that I am faced with making while in office.

"Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them."

Matthew 18:19-20

What does it mean to be an Independent?

Candidates may have their name placed on the general election ballot

as an independent candidate if they are NOT affiliated with a political party. If you vote in party's primary elections or participate in a party's conventions, you thereby affiliate with the party.

"I believe that a Sheriff should be non-partisan and fight to defend your Constitutional rights and God-given freedoms no matter what your political views are. A Sheriff is not a strongarm of the law; a Sheriff is a guardian of the rights of the people against street level crime and overreaching government. I believe in People over Party, equal justice for all, the rule of law, and that the United States Constitution is worth defending at any cost against all enemies foreign or domestic."
